I used to keep a journal of foods that I’ve made, recipes I’ve created, ideas of what to do when you have a bunch of one ingredient… As much as I love the feel of a pen in my hand, the journal became extremely hard to find anything in, since it was all in random order.

This is my online version of that journal, happily searchable.

In the day, I work as a copywriter. In the evenings, I play with my two kids and chat with my hubs.

  1. Another idea for the leftover half onion is to chop the remainder (when you make slices for whatever) and put it in a ziplock freezer bag and then it is ready to put into whatever soup, etc., you are making.
